Request for Quotes: Road Grading

   

Page Township seeks QUOTES for road grading for 2022.  Road grading must be performed according to specifications of the Town Board, available from the Clerk. Written quotes must include:

(1) Lump sum rate for each pass of the full 25 miles (more or less) of road. Each pass will be done approximately every other week throughout the season.

(2) Hourly rate for additional, more frequent or grading of certain road sections on-call as requested by the Town.

Include with quotes a description of equipment to be used. All quotes must be submitted electronically or delivered to 21804 140th Ave, Milaca 56353 (US Mail or dropbox) with a current Certificate of Insurance ($1.5 million liability) by March 21, 2022 at 6:00 PM. Quotes will be read at the Regular Board Meeting held that evening. The Page Township Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes. Selected contractor must sign contract and provide W-9. ANNUAL MEETING: The 2022 Page Township Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 8th shortly after polls close for the Township Election at 8:00pm. The meeting will take place at the Page Town Hall. The primary purpose is to set the 2023 property tax levy but other business permitted by law may be discussed as well.

HALL RENTAL: The Town Hall is available for public rental. At this time, there are no official restrictions due to COVID, but Page Township encourages renters to adhere to relevant CDC and MN Department of Health guidance. Hall rental forms and availability calendar are available online.

Notice of Annual Election of Officers and Annual Meeting

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Page Township, Mille Lacs County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Page Town Hall: 21804 – 140th Avenue, Milaca.

The Election Poll hours will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at which time the voters will elect: 

SUPERVISOR B for a three-year term (Candidates: Jake Janski, Write-in)

CLERK for a two-year term (Candidate: Kyle Weimann, Write-in)

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:00PM to conduct all business prescribed by law, including setting the 2022 property tax levy.  A remote connection via Zoom will be posted on www.PageTownship.org. Outside entities seeking Township support must submit their request in writing. 

The Board of Canvass will be held following the close of the Annual Town Meeting to certify the election results. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, all dates and meetings will take place on Tuesday, March 15th. Cancellation will be posted on PageTownship.org and at the Town Hall. Notice is hereby given to residents of Page Township, Mille Lacs County, MN for candidate filing for Town Officers. The positions to be elected on March 8, 2022 are: Supervisor B (3 year term) and Clerk (2 year term). Candidates must file an Affidavit of Candidacy from December 28, 2021 through 5:00pm January 11, 2022 with the Town Clerk. Forms are available in one of the boxes outside the Town Hall, 21804 140th Ave. Additionally, the Hall will be open from 1:00-5:00pm January 11 for the purpose of filing. The filing fee is $2.
